Three days shooting took place at Skellig Michael Island off the coast of Ireland’s County Kerry, and there have also been locations in Abu Dhabi, New Mexico, and the Krafla volcano in Iceland. Shooting has taken place in the UK at Pinewood Studios at RAF Greenham Common and in Scotland.
